About PricingNest
PricingNest is a lightweight toolkit of SaaS pricing and cloud unit-economics calculators. The goal is to help you sanity-check pricing decisions with transparent, input-driven models.
What this site does
- Provides calculators for pricing, margin, and unit economics.
- Uses your inputs (no live cloud pricing feeds) so assumptions stay explicit.
- Lets you export results to CSV and share pre-filled links.
How the calculators work
Each tool explains its formulas in plain language on the page. Outputs are derived directly from the inputs you provide. Where the model is simplified (for example, using blended average costs), the assumptions section calls that out.
Recommended inputs
- Use blended infra costs (weighted average across regions/instance types) when possible.
- Separate fixed overhead from variable costs to avoid double-counting.
- When uncertain, model a range (best/base/worst) instead of a single point estimate.
Limitations
- Tools provide estimates only; validate with your own financials and customer behavior.
- We do not account for every cost category by default (payment fees, support escalation, vendor minimums).
- Unit economics can vary by segment; consider segmenting inputs for accuracy.
